Things that we should know about Master-pieces Even though some people think a master-piece is creative by learning vague from talking and listening, learning from the society and listening to their opinion to create a master-piece. But I don’t think that way, a master-piece is all about the human mind and how you think about it. When people are creating a new art works, if he always listens to others and changes his work, he might improve but if he keeps doing that, he will never create an artwork that is a master-piece. In the essay â€Å"What Are Master-pieces and Why Are There So Few of Them,† the author Gertrude Stein states in her own way why there are only a few master pieces left. As she said, â€Å"I was going to talk to you but actually it is impossible to talk about master-pieces and what they are because talking essentially has nothing to do with creation† (131). The author uses the to repeat the words â€Å"talk† and â€Å"listen† again and again in the paragraph, but the context suddenly changes at the end of the sentence—â€Å"has nothing to do with creation.† To show that when you talk and listen to people you never use the creation and from that, the master-piece is never able to be creative.Also, the author states that human mind with creation is the most important part to make a master-piece.
